STOP!! is realtime, multiplayer, category based game in which players compete in a race to complete all their answers before the other players.
The objective of the game is to provide answers where the first letter matches the randomly generated letter for that game. The winner is the first player to provide a valid answer for each category. Once you have completed all answers you "STOP!!" the game which instantly stops the game for all other players.
To save the game from continuing indefinitely once the timer hits the maximum runtime for the game it will automatically be stopped. The default runtime is 90 seconds but this is configurable by the master in the game settings
When a round is complete the "Game Master" (the player who started the game) will mark the answers. Each player receives ten points for a unique answer, five points for an answer shared with another player, and no points for an answer that is incorrect for the category or where there was no answer provided.
Players can see the scoring as it happens and can also see the answers that other players entered. To reduce favouritism the Game Master cannot see the name of the player who entered a particular answer.
Follow the links to start a game. Once at the lobby page you will be provided a unique link that you can send to others for them to join your game. Once you have all the players you want in the lobby you can begin playing.
On completion of the first game you can create a tournament by selecting "PLAY AGAIN" on the overall rankings page. Playing again will start another round with a new randomly generated letter and accumulate the scores.
STOP!! is a realtime, live, game that relies on the participants connection to the internet. Due to this, certain issues may cause disruption to the game.
If the "Game Master" is disconnected the game and tournament will end and all players will be disconnected.
If a player is disconnected the game will continue and no points will be received for that player. The player may rejoin the tournament as the same player, if cookies are enabled, or as a new player with no historical score. When rejoining a game the player will sit in the lobby until the next round starts.
Each player must have a unique display name
